Guerwitcz's Story Line
While helping one of the other players work out, Thad discovers that he's cycling off steroids in order to get his sex life back on track. Later, after having failed to become aroused while in bed with August, he flashes back to the scene in the bar bathroom with David, knowing he's the real reason. But he tells August that he has been using steroids and blames his impotency on that.

Later, as he and August are preparing to leave the house, Thad goes out to the car to wait for her. As he's getting in, David pulls up. Thad hurries over to try to get him to leave before August comes out, telling him he should have called. David ask Thad if she's a dyke, if she knows about him When he says no, David asks how that plays out in the bedroom and warns him the fact he's gay won't stay hidden forever. David leaves before August comes out of the house.
At practice, the player who Thad was helping to work out is once again back on steroids; he needs them in order to stay in the starting lineup. Thad asks him about his concerns with impotence and he shows Thad another pill - this time it's Viagra. Thad looks at the bottle and realises, somewhat dejectedly, that he's found the solution to his sexual problems with August.
